BANGLADESH YOUTH UNION
The Bangladesh Youth Union (BYU), established on August 28, 1976, stands as a pioneering force in the country's youth movement, championing the rights and interests of young people. Anti-Unemployment Movement: BYU actively safeguards and enhances youth rights through demonstrations, marches, and innovative proposals like the establishment of a Youth Bank for self-employment.
CENTRAL COMMITTEE
12th National Conference of the Bangladesh Youth Union, held on January 13-14, 2023, the slogan was "Stop corruption-money-laundering-misrule; unite in the struggle for employment and voting rights."
The conference was inaugurated on the first day, Friday, at 3 PM in Shahbagh Projonmo Chattar, where Comrade Shahidullah Chowdhury, former president of the Communist Party, inaugurated the opening event. Distinguished economist and researcher Dr. Debapriya Bhattacharya, former President of the Youth Union B.M. Shahidul Haque, and Chairman of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at Dhaka University, Dr. Kaberi Gayen, were present as guests.
On the second day of the conference, delegates from over 69 organizational districts participated in the Council Assembly held at the BMA Auditorium in Dhaka.
